It was snowing and a fresh fall lay on the ground this morning so I rushed out with my camera to take pics quick before it all melted, and it was melting by the late afternoon. Here is a sort of late Xmas card for all my friends here. (waves from Essex)

Bryster, No. Well... only a bit, I've lived in lots of the UK, I just happen to be living here now. I'll admit to being a Constable Girl if you like - this IS Constable country. Glad you liked it.

'Essex Girls' - somehow always makes me think of Sharon, Tracy and Ford Cortinas. Nice photo (waving from Staffordshire) ;-)

gillbrooks, Which is why I said "Constable Girl" - since pretty much everyone thinks "Ford Cortina" when actually it's a nice new Kia Sportage in Black Cherry - with heated seats too! Lovely in this weather... (waves back)

Jeez but I hate Kias! Had 'courtesy car fromthe local ford when my car was being repaired. It was horrible, too small and cramped. (Went like a rocket though...)

Ah, but that wasn't a new Kia Sportage... I'll take a pic tomorrow if I don't die in the night: sore throat, feel terrible... (Mine's Biiii-iG!)

nice shot! As for cars, I prefer something fast.. ooor a BIG badass SUV. No more nasty white vans trying to cut in front of you if u got a big bad SUV of 1.5 or maybe even almost twice the size of your average stationwagon :-P Then they're suddenly scared of the big car ;)

lol at Pakled. You missed out Middlesex. The simple answer is that the Saxons didn't manage to get a foothold in the northern parts of our country, well not back in historical times anyways. Great photo Fran. Down here in Surrey our snow disappeared almost as quick as it arrived.
