I think your going through what i did when i made my minisub and robotic arms. I wanted it to be believable and had a few webpage images to work from but, where do you stop??...... After seeing how many people downloaded the complete vehicle i feel that if your happy to make it real then people will want it. If you go to far, your'll get manufacturers after your models to build in real life!! LOL (I hope you do ;) ). Just do what you feel is right and keep asking, your always get an answer biet right or wrong ;) Marc (Thinking what an awesome model this will be!!)
Smile, your dead a long time :)
I'm going to need all that detail when you finish it and up it as a freebie ;)

Great looking Sci-fi vehicle! Maybe in the back of your mind you considered using this model in an animation and you completely detailed it so you could use any view angle in a "shot". Think of a "worms-eye-view" shot of that massive undercarriage rolling over the camera! Or maybe you're an obsessive modeler, lol.

i am working on a futuristic trucking image and started modelling the close-up vehicle, after testing the POV i found that i had overmodelled, but...is this such a bad thing?, is an image helped by the bits you cant see actually being there?, hmm, one to ponder.Experience is no substitute for blind faith.
