Sama1- you need to follow the EXACT link above to get the special price. And remember, it expires Monday, March 19, so you need to act immediately if you want it for $99... The Acoustic Mirror features alone are really amazing and should be of special interest to musicians. There are huge megabytes of free downloadable ZIP's of concert halls, clubs, etc., etc. I am really pleased with this deal...

Fox. Where did you get that link and keycode from? As a moderator here. I have to ask because if it's something that is not supposed to be given out to the public. Then It can be considered a form of warezing. Giving it out like that. And I don't want to see anyone get into trouble over it. I'm all for helping people save money. So I hope this IS something that you have permission to do. But if you don't. Then this is something that we obviously can't allow to be posted here. I hope you can understand my concern. ScottA

ScottA- It was sent to me in an email from Sonic Foundry, as I am on their mailing list... The email basically says "this special price is to say thanks to all the users who have established Sound Forge as the industry's leading audio editor, etc..." There is nothing implict or implied in the email that it is for only special people, users, etc. I suspect that either they genuinely are saying thanks, or maybe they have a bit of a cash-flow problem, or maybe the audio sound software market is getting highly competitive- who really knows? It is one heck of a deal- and I waited until the last minute myself to get it, as the offer expires Monday, March 19, so it is Kaput, Finis, S.O.L. after that date... I also got Lightwave 6.5 for $995 in a deal like this. I think these software publishers do these blow-out deals to keep their user base happy, while at the same time don't want to make it a really "official" price that would upset other dealers, catalog companies, etc. So when they happen, you have to jump on them. But basically, anyone who happened to get on Sonic Foundry's email list probably got this email- and I'm just sharing it...

Nice. But it is a download copy - MAKE SURE to keep a record of all correspondence you make including the receipts, and if you have a CD, burn an archival copy before you even install it; I got burned when hard drive crash wiped out a download purchase and I'd lost the receipt a few years ago; had to buy the software a second time!
