The theme for the next chllenge will be "Wonders of the World". No particular restrictions other than using Vue of course :) I will update the challenge pages over the weekend. Good luck everybody :)

I'm new to the vue community. I love the idea of the challenges and want to get involved. I have a question .... Are there any postwork restrictions?

agiel ( ) posted Sat, 07 January 2006 at 9:28 AM

Postwork is allowed within reason. As long as you can tell Vue was used to render the scene, some postwork should not be a problem. Ultimately, just submit your picture and I will tell you if it works or not :)

Coo-ooooo-l. I'll have fun with this one. I assume we're not restricted to the actual 7 wonders?

Like I said above - no particular restriction :) It can be any wonder of the world... from supernova to DNA :)

I was so sad that I missed the december challenge about things that go wrong, I would have posted a screen capture of my monitor with "a fatal error has occured. Vue is attempting to save etc etc" Love esther

Why is the size limitation so small? 800 pixels is not a lot of area to work with and in a challenge such as this, where we're working quite possibly in a grand scale, I'll lose so much detail in going to that size. Just curious, is there a reason why we limit it to 800x600?

Sorry for the delay. The size limitation was set to 800x800 for two reasons : to add another twist to the challenge and to make sure entries will fit in the various pages where entries are used, without having to reduce them. That being said, I am willing to increase the size limitation a little bit if necessary.
