I uploaded an image today the same as I have always done, putting the large image in its place, and the thumb in its place. Then double checking the files to make sure they're the right one's. But something messed up along the way and they didn't upload properly. Has any one had the same problem?

I reposted them and now they show correctly. The first and original upload was about 2:30 AM EST.

Without being able to see what went wrong with the first upload or having a description of the problem, I would think it would be difficult to give an opinion. As a guess, did the thumbnail corrupt and or look blocky and pixilated? This can occur it the main image and thumb have the same file name. I have also seen this happen on occasion, but never had it happen to me. Also there is server work being carried out at present, so maybe that caused an issue. Simon

O.K. simon here are the answers. Broken thumb? yes. blocky pixilated image? yes. file names? kind-of they had similar file names but like I said I have done it before.

Sometimes the system seems to do it for no reason that I can figure, other that perhaps there is a loss of digital information (packet loss) I dont think this is specifically a Rosity issue, I have received images via e-mail that have had the same problems. I guess that as with all digital transfer methods there is always a chance of data corruption. One if lifes little mysteries

if the thumbnail and the big one have the same filename it messes up.
