Here s a pretty good tut that I found. Its for Poser5 but I think it works the same way in Poser6.Message edited on: 01/10/2006 07:05
I had spent time re-installing to separate runtimes but I found it frustrating to work that way waiting for runtimes to open, getting mixed up about which runtime I was in, so I consolidated them and I see no impairment of performance. I tried comparing an Poser start up on one drive with a small runtime and on an other drive with my monster runtime and there was no real difference. This is only my experience though. But the key is using folders to very carefully manage the one nasty big runtime I am using! I very carefully structured this runtime in nested folders. The only time I use runtime switching to get at earlier Poser version runtimes and to runtime I use only for testing new content or for developing specific projects e.g. "RosityMPruntime" and "WorkMartiniCultureruntime" I can empty those runtimes when the test or project is done. I still don't know what is the arrangement of content...

HI ya all Seen some good forum tuts on multiple runtimes but need help can't get the initial setup clear. For those of you who use multiple runtimes, please for me being newi to P6 a simple very simple setup including a pic would be good. Of where and how to place the new runtimes and how many I should have, I have found a little program which can place runtimes auto in P6. I just want to set initial up so I can still read the library. I placed everything in main P6 runtime and now P6 runs soooooo sloooooow,I should have known, it really seemed too good to be true I can navigate my library easy though but now at the cost of slow operations hope it makes sense Rowlando
