Subject: volumetric light problem

hi...

in front I will say.. sorry, my english is bad... smile

I have Poser 6 and I wanted to crate a volumetric light.. the light is perfect.. but.. I have MANY problems with the shaddow. I dont know why.. my poser is in english and I cant translate all,.. but .. can me anybody help who had Poser 6 too?

please, can anyone help me? wahts wrong on my poser settings vor volumetric light?
it is only a tutorial for poser 5 and it is in german.. but here is the link

Here is another tutorial for Volumetric light. There is an english version, French and German. Perhaps one of these will help you.

It looks like it might be the Shadow Min Bias. See this FAQ: http://www.keindesign.de/stefan/poser/firefaq.html#2

I dont know.. someone in DAZ forum tells me that my settings are right.. her a screenshot settings http://www.gwebspace.de/posermidici/fragen/settings.jpg the render withe this settings http://www.gwebspace.de/posermidici/fragen/wrong.jpg than I get this adress http://www.daz3d.com/support/tutorial/index.php?id=833 but it wasnt the STEP SIZE too... cry

That sure looks like step size set too big. Big stap sizes will cause those seperations you are seeing. Try setting it very low. 0.05 or even less. Nerd3D
