This is a test...this is only a test.... Just want to make sure, our backrooms are going through some switchovers, and since everything in the headers reside in our Bryce Backroom FTP... AgentSmith

AgentSmith ( ) posted Sun, 15 January 2006 at 3:01 AM

Yeah, back and forth for me too. Mostly good to go though. I'm hoping all that will stop once the Marketplace is fully switched over to PHP here in less than a day. AS

Nope. Just the marketplace image. No banners, no realworld bryce, no daz... The images on the sidebar and renderosity header are there. It's been going for the last couple of days and I almost put the question in a different thread this morning.

Yup, the word from upstairs - the graphics in the headers are going to be on/off until after the Marketplace PHP switch over, which will happen sometime on the 16th (which is about 6 hours from right now) Hold on everyone...were about to make the jump to light speed... AgentSmith

AgentSmith ( ) posted Sun, 15 January 2006 at 8:18 PM

The headers will eventually all snap back to how they are supposed to be after the MP switch to PHP. The specific time for switch over will be 8am Renderosity time. That's about 12 hours from right now! (20:18 CST) AS

Sure people won't have to clear thier Internet Histories? I've got them all for now, at least.

Quest ( ) posted Mon, 16 January 2006 at 1:59 AM

Well, seems like things are not yet A-Okay. Now getting the little "X's" again.

matrixmode ( ) posted Mon, 16 January 2006 at 2:13 AM

Is anyone "filming" all this? It's a bit of an historic occasion. Sort of a "Kodak moment". lol. :)

little x in the main banner atm.

AgentSmith ( ) posted Mon, 16 January 2006 at 7:17 AM

Clearing histories shouldn't be needed, BUT...it couldn't hurt either...never can tell with computers. All the graphics in the headers are now being pulled off the new server which houses the PHP for the Marketplace. ;o) ...less than an hour now until the MP switchover. AS

Marketplace was blazingly fast, but the forum is slow as a glacier. And still no pics. And marketplace now got slow as well.

Just a guess, but I would give the Admins/Programmers a day or so to get this all balanced out. AS
