Mike 3 gets an RAF desert uniform from 1991 (I think its the same now), this is as authentic as i can get and all textures are from an actual uniform, well mine actually :o) thats me in it in 1991 (won't fit now LOL), the uniform can be changed to a UK standard one with the textures and MAT files supplied, these will be pretty authentic (more info in the readme), also in the zip is the beret which has morphs and MATs to create an SAS trooper and a Para, its also set up to add your own Badge, the uniform has morphs for Stocky as well as Muscle 1 and 2...I will be creating a Steph 3 and David version but open to other requests...Steve

Steve looking very nice. You seem to be one of the few merchants supporting ApolloMax with clothing. Could you possibly post or point to the site how many items for ApolloMax Poserworld.com currently has. I'm seriously considering getting a new subscription, I let my old one laps, but now your supporting James and ApolloMax. Will you continue to support James and ApolloMax in the future?

this is begging to be multisuited... or more accurately, we are begging you to multisuit it ;D.

Steve - that's worth the price of the subcription on it's own. Excellent work!

Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.

Yes, that Steve model is quite yummy! :) I notice that where your sleeves are rolled up, there is no pattern: fabric printed only on the outside rather than being woven in. (waves to Lyrra) Carolly

William ( ) posted Tue, 10 January 2006 at 1:11 AM

Looks very realistic Steve. Only thing I'd like added would be a morph to open up the neck(like in your photo)

steveshanks ( ) posted Tue, 10 January 2006 at 4:51 AM

Thanks but I'm afraid i've had a few morphs added to create wrinkles and remove hair since that pic was taken LOL.......MachineClaw,Intergalactic commander, Space Fleet Officer, Flightsuits-2005 and Dungarees is the full list for Apollo but i'm happy to convert anything to fit him. This set will be made for David, James, Steph 3 and Apollo (i've started them) but in the meantime i've updated the zip, it now has slope pockets morph (i got it wrong with straight pockets), low blousing morph and an open shirt morph, I think that pic is more a combination of how i'm sitting and the shirts been pulled about a bit LOL but no harm making an extra morph :o)....The original jpgs are up to download too if anyone wants to fiddle with textures...And well spotted Carolly, i noticed that after i'd finished the renders and then scanned the image, so the textures are correct i just didn't want to do the renders again...........Steve

Very cool. Have to sign up this weeek. Thanks.

pdxjims ( ) posted Tue, 10 January 2006 at 11:52 AM

Lyrra! How about using your morphing and texturing skills to make a Steve (c 1991) morph for David or Apollo? The clothing is great, but I think a Steve character would be very popular (grin). Wheee! Best investment I ever made was a lifetime membership to PW.

hauksdottir ( ) posted Tue, 10 January 2006 at 12:40 PM

Steve, Sean Connery as Bond was a pretty-boy jerk, but in "Robin and Marion" he was sexy as hell. A bit of grey and a bit of maturity add a lot more distinction to a person than does baby-smooth flesh. Lyrra, I think James would make a better starting-point. ;^) We've come a long way in a few years... from "painted on" clothing to noticing whether a pattern is woven or printed. Carolly

XENOPHONZ ( ) posted Tue, 10 January 2006 at 3:35 PM

Great work again, Steve.

About those wrinkle and hair removal morphs -- since you are taking requests -- can you design some 'smooth skin' and 'add hair' morphs? I suspect that you'd have a huge influx of new subscribers for your site if you did.

In Poser years, 1991 was primal pre-history. But in reality: 1991 wasn't very long ago.
