Content Advisory! This message contains nudity

is there an easy way to make clothes fit a morphed figure, what is the best program with great results with little or no learning curve?

Wardrobe Wizard by PhilC and Kamilche. www.philc.net This little program is so great! You can fit just about any clothing from any figure to another. Great for morphed figures. Go and see what they say about it.

Definitly Wardrobe Wizard. I can't imagine using poser without it ever again. It's easy to fit clothing to a morphed figure with WW. 1. load vicky and put on all the clothing/items you want her to wear. 2. click a couple of buttons and analyze each clothing item/prop that will need to be adjusted to fit the morphed figure. Do that for each item. 3. After the analysis is all done. Morph Vicky 4. Click a couple more buttons and "convert to" for each item you analyzed. 5. Do a few smooths and inflates on targeted spots, and you're set. The nice thing about WW is that once you analyze something you don't have to do it again, so long as you don't delete the .dat file that is in the WW analysis folder. Another nice thing about WW is, if you can obtain a .dat file from someone who analyzed that clothing already, you don't even need the original figure that the clothing belonged to. All you would need is the clothing in your library, and the .dat file from that person. Because WW relies on .dat files, means you don't have to take up HD space by saving converted clothing to your library for each figure. You can conver them on the fly after you have analyzed them. I analyzed most of my clothing and now I just put whatever I want on whatever figure I want, and then convert it to that figure in a few seconds. You can also use The Tailor to add morphs to particular areas of clothing so that you can adjust that area. Or you can use magnets. WW using magnets, but it's done automatically based on data it extracted, so it's almost like magic.

Best I can do so far is use morphable clothes on her, I have daz's program but it requires me to edit directly to the geometry a bit of a learning curve. Ill go check out phil C's and see if that one works better for me.

There is a demo version of WW, but you can't use it on V3, only Don and Judy I think. If you buy it, Phil sends you a link to the full program along with a key to unlock the program.

Phil tells you how to conform clothes so that they retain the existing morphs. He has a tutorial. A little extra work than just pushing the Python button, but well worth it. If clothing has body handles you can transfer them too. My Mike 3 doesn't have many clothes. M2 has a bunch. Now they're sharing. Pretty soon Apollo with be wearing the two Mikes clothes. Love this program.

His program wont work on v3 or is that just the demo that wont work on her?

AtelierAriel ( ) posted Wed, 18 January 2006 at 4:09 PM

Just the demo... The demo only works on figures that came with Poser. It won't work on any figure that came from other sources. So I think the P4 people and Don and Judy are included. If you buy the program it works on most figures that are available. You have to have the figure for it to work and Phil isn't going to include V3 in the demo.

So the unimesh figures are excluded but they are in the full version right?

If you go to the WW link above, there is a table at the bottom that shows all the figures that are supported by the full version of WW. Supported means that you can conver to and from any of those figures listed.

The demo version is very limited and doesn't work for any of the unimesh figures... just the figures that came with Poser 5 install.

There is a huge number of figures currently supported by the full version. You can go to that thread and see some examples of what it can do. The thread is old, around the same time WW was released.
