Canon Powershot S2 IS I love it. I've even started posting in my gallery, which you can view at the link above. 5 megapixels, 12x optical zoom, 360 degrees image stitching capabilities built-in, fully manual if you want to.. a beauty, what can I say. The 360 image stitching thing is quite cool, i've even made a small one that you can see **[here](http://www.freewriters.ca/uploads/wow.jpg)**. I'm extremely excited :) drac

and one final shot. the first and last shots are wooden heads bought by my father from his time in nigeria (cca 1970s).

Drac. Has this camera got 'steady shot' (I thinks thats right) which helps take out the shake off shooting? Your second image seems a little shaky or is this because being new to it? Its got a great colour balance.

draculaz ( ) posted Wed, 18 January 2006 at 3:09 PM

lol. yeah, basically without the flass the no-shaking thing is useless. especially since all pics were taken with 12x zoom. so yeah... drac (and that is a thermostat, and that is a telescope. i don't snoop though)

draculaz ( ) posted Wed, 18 January 2006 at 4:25 PM

it's about 2000x200 or something... you should be getting all of it, but yeah, it's a small strip

marcfx ( ) posted Wed, 18 January 2006 at 4:36 PM

Oh right, Thought my comp wasnt working properly then! LOL It has a good knit but you can see slight colour changes where they do meet. Your be able to sort all this out with practice.....I'll give you a week and your be making Bryce plasticine (Wallace & Gromit) films next!! LOL

Gahhh! That camera feature is awesome! Looks at old Nikon CoolPix Sigh

The shaking thing really helps capture action in shady areas outdoors but indoor there is just too little light without the flash for it to be effective. It also helps when zoomed in very far outside, but this feautre is best suited for video cameras anyways. Go figure... The color differences are because the camera is on automatic mode and is changing the exposure for each area. Switch to manual, then find an exposure that works for most areas and then do the stitch thing, and everything should be more or less the same tone :)
