You would have to create a 2nd, whole new, seperate account. Screen names cannot be changed. AgentSmith

LOL :-) Too bad about not being able to change screen names. I guess I'll continue being Death at Midnight, although the name no longer fits the original function. But the responses to this thread really made me laugh on a stressful Friday. Thanks all!! Really needed that! :-D Cardinal Bryster sounds pretty good, and Lord Sackrat, also! --DM
Re: Incarnadine... I know, in fact you might recall my first IM (and first IM in Renderosity I've ever done) was to you about the name. I was one of the main administrators of the official Castle Perilous online game, back in those days, and the strange thing was a year before a player came to us saying he did digital art. So when I saw you, I had wondered if you and him were the same. But contact the author if you really wanted to use the name. As for me, Death at Midnight is a play on the title from an author friend of mine who wrote a novela "At the Stroke of Midnight" about the Death character I role played (at the time.) Some authors might like the publicity a name gives for their work, as long as its done in good taste, which your artwork certainly is. And as for the author of the Castle Perilous books go, you have a good chance. He was very easy for us of the game to base it on his work. --DM
I recall that IM. I had actually picked the name based on the OED definition of incarnadine as a bit of a personal pun/joke given the slant of my published traditional media works at that time. I do continue to publish works in that field so I don't think I shall be asking to add the Lord in front as per his character. It just wouldn't feel appropriate to me. By the way, I have enjoyed several of his books - like the concept.
Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!
I've never really wanted to change my name, but I probably would have if it hadn't been so hard to choose an untaken name when I first began using the internet - Fran Baker and all the permutations thereof being so common. I was writing a novel at the time - which was based on a poem - which was based on a dream. Novel was called "Dream's Edge". By the time I had frustratedly tried 10 or 12 permutations of Fran Baker I was also feeling pretty "edgy"... so when I stopped and went to brew a coffee, I thought for a bit and hey presto - FranOnTheEdge...
