I have been thinking about making some canes for use in poser and uploading them to renderosity and was wondering what people would like to see , different shapes and what not, it will be a pack of freebies again.

Animal heads would be cool. A snake, for instance. And maybe a lion or some other cat.

Here are some links with some really nice looking walking sticks.

Wouldn't mind seeing a cane with a wolf's head....

How about a sword and sorcery fantasy style cane or two? One with a very large faceted spherical gem as a handgrip would be pretty cool, could be used by lords with ladies, aristrocratic vampires, maybe even victorian era nobility etc.

I second both the lion and wolf heads suggestions as well! EDIT oh yeah, back on the fantasy idea, how about a nice, unadorned, unjemmed, but very eye catching in its natural beauty, crooked-limbed (yanno, not a simple cue-stick straight length of wood, but a nice curled branch with lots of character), and tree bark textured walking stick that could be used by any not particularly wealty old hobbit or dwarf (we could im sure scale it up for elves and humans and make it that much more versatile!)

Anyone looked in the daz freestuff at the canes there?

thou and I, my friend, can, in the most flunkey world, make, each of us, one non-flunkey, one hero, if we like: that will be two heroes to begin with. (Carlyle)

Got those, they're pretty neat. But like swords & other pointy objects, you can never have too many canes.

Thanks for all of your ideas im in the middle of making them at the moment and thanks for the link Acadia i will then have something to go by. i used to have part of a tree branch (it fell out of a tree and nearly hit me) it was sort of curved like a scimitar but had a bulbous part on the end it kinda looked like a leprechauns walking stick. might make something like that aswell. At the moment i have about 12 ideas going so it should be a big pack the only problem is do i make the figures/adornments fit 1 type of cane of make make many or do i make the cane and figures as one.
