Just have one, myself. If you have a boring and tedious repetitive process, start buying ockham gift certificates and maybe he will make a script for you! *Yay, OCKHAM!* And I started a similar thread a while back if you want to take a read...

Before you start any render or cloth simulation in Poser, ensure that you have a good supply of edibles/drinkables/books available to while away the time with:-)) Unless, of course you need to walk the dog, chivvy the children into cleaning up their rooms (and watch over them as they do so), service the car, mow the lawn, paint the house, sleep for a night (or two), go to work, go out to eat, go on holiday, ....

Oh - and save before you start the process...

Cheers,
Diolma
Message edited 'cos Poser hadn't finished rendering my latest mistresspiece.... (But then, it's never a good idea to try to run Poser whilst still connected, IMHO)...

Well I'm not sure if this is the kind of things you want to know but what I want most out of Poser is 2 things: 1) FAST changing runtimes and 2) Stop looking in 20 runtimes for a missing file before deigning to ask me if I know where it is. ;o) The first problem I solved easily: I now use exclusively P3dO along with prpc script. All the Poser files related to one model are in the same folder now. It is SO fast and easy, I love it! The second problem I kind of solved for figures. I load the object in Poseray to check if all the referenced files are where they are supposed to be. At least Poseray tells me some files are missing but doesn't go looking for them ad vitam aeternam for nothing. I wish someone would come up with a tip or trick to definitely solve that second problem for me. ;o)

Ok thank you. Well as I hate to see deleted posts in a forum, I'll leave it there. And we never know, maybe someone will find a way to solve my #2 problem. ;o))

There is a program called p-wizard by Kattman. It has a packaginf wizard in it that when a file is added it searches for all relivant files that accompany it and will save them as well. That may help you in your problem, but it is a payfor item, and should be nere in the RMP

Set your preferences in Poser and learn to use the memory dots. The Poser environment needs to be set up the way you like to work. I don't need the P4 Dork or P5 Don to load when I open the program. Delete the default figure. I work visually, so I click Texture shaded in the Document Display Style and Full Tracking so that I'm moving the figure and not boxes. I don't like ground shadows and turn them off from the Display menu. I change the light colors to white and gray shades so that I'm not getting the brownish/orange tints with the default light. I set the Main Camera to 100mm and the Face Camera to 160mm so that I'm not getting forced perspective or a fisheye lens effect respectively. I move all the Poser controls to a layout I like. Go to EditGeneral Preferences and click Set Preferred State and the circle to Launch Preferred State. That way, Poser loads the way I want it every time. It's not a bad idea to also click one of the UI dots because Poser sometimes loses the preferences. This is a nice to quickly customize Poser.
