I'm trying to experiment with some basic Vue5I animations to setup eventually rendering movies for showing in some training videos. I'm using the following settings:

720 x 480 non-square pixels (0.9), DV NTSC
Lower field interlacing
avi or QT movies.

When I try and render the movie, all I get is a small vertical portion that works. The final frame in Vue shows up like this (see above) with clear interlacing artifacts. If I don't field separate, everything is okay. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? BTW, I'm using the latest beta version...

Thanks

Stuart

As a quick follow-up, I'd really prefer NOT to render an animation without field separation. It just doesn't look as good on a TV that way.

Well I note that you're rendering at 720x240, which doesn't sound like NTSC DV to me. Are you hoping that field interlacing doubles up the resolution to 480? Try rendering out at 720x480 & see what happens. I have to admit that I never use field interlacing so I may be talking out of my botty, I always use full screen mode, I like the film look it gives me.

Has this problem been resolved yet because I'm getting exactly same as aae991.
