Hi folks :(

News about Cath Harders aka Mec4D (and not very good news). Neftis wrote me today:

Hello, I've got some news about Cath today!
She lives for now at hew EX-Husband's place..She lost almost everything she owned in the fire.She did not have any insurence as she just divorced and was trying to put back her life together, so she told me she wasn't yet able to afford insurence-That's sad....I sent her a box with old computer parts to help her put together a new computer, I hope she will be able to be online again with all of us.
And I passed her all of the wonderful support messages from this community.She was very touched.

Goshhh... I was hoping that she had an insurance... Glad because she has a place to live and she is starting again, but... really from zero point, ooff :(

Sorry to hear because her posts are very informative. The fire can never take away her knowledge, experience nor her insight to share her discoveries with us (speaking from a similar personal tragedy). Wishing all the best and a speedy recovery.

best wishes for Cath. the same thing happened to one of my friends - separated from her husband, house burned down a month later, forced to move back with husband. cause and effect? I hope not, especially in Cath's case.

I live in the Netherlands too. I might be able to help. For example, I have a fairly modern desktop computer she could borrow for as long as she needs. What's the best way to contact her?

awww, svdl, that is SO wonderful of you! I'm sure that will mean so much to her... my heart breaks for her, but it must have been a very bad fire for her to lose everything, so at the same time my heart rejoices that she survived...I hope that those are are able, can purchase things from her or even make a donation...I hope she receives enough support, emotionally AND financially, to see her through this until she can get back on her feet...sending many many many prayers and positive thoughts and wishes her way...Karen
