It is my duty to inform you people that my new lens arrived in the mail today...I ended up getting the Konica Minolta AF100 2.8(D) Macro...I took a couple hand held shots but nothing worthy of sharing. Seems a very nice lens, and it better be for what I paid. Good deal though..considering. I got it from www.bhphotovideo.com Cool place to order stuff ;-)

Hurry up and get some images posted with it. Sounds cool.

Here's an image...not by it but of it.

Looks great and real 2/2 magnification too! I have a Canon that can go up to x 4 but I have found that above 1/1 you need a very steady mounting, such as a tripod to get the most from it. Looking forward to the new shots with it.

Ooh nice lens, 2/2 macro cool!! Dan what lens have you got? MP-E65mm f/2.8 Macro? that lens is x5 though, I have seen a 30" print of a grain of rice shot with one of them lol. Would love to get my hands on a x5 macro lens, if just for a play!

SWeEt! Serious looking equipment. Can't wait to see some 'cool' macros in the near future!

It is 1/1. It just isn't fully extended in this photo.
