It is better in Poser 4 somewhat, but the best thing about Poser 4 is that it allows you to use higher polygonal models like Daz 3D's Victoria and Michael. Which cost extra, so you should factor that in.Poser 4 offers a lot of great improvements over 3. In my opinion it's well worth it. However, the figures that come with P4 pretty much have the same joint set-up as the P3 versions, with a few minor improvements. Figures are available such as Eve, Victoria, Michael, Natalia and Millie JCM that have improved methods of handling the problem joint areas. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here, but out of those I think Eve is the only one out of those that has a P3 version. As far as exporting to other aps, P4 does have several new export options but I personally never had any trouble with this in P3.
Hope this helps.

The best price is getting the upgrade CD, which is only available from Curious Labs as far as I know. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Im thinking of getting Poser4.03. I have v3 and am a little dissapointed in the crude lack of detail around joints of arms legs etc. The connections are a bit rough when imported into other 3d apps. Just wonder if this is any better in v4. Or is there a way to better this on export - or even maybe going to truespace first to increase the polys (god forbid)? Thanks, Riv
