Thank you Cindy. A new cam...well...thats what i hope for at least. Gonna call the bank today and see what kind of payment plan they can come up with. Its all depending on rates etc etc... Better find me a new car first though. #:o/

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

E500...let the drooling begin. ;] I hope the bank can work out something good for you. Tell them they'll have to deal with Super Grover if they don't! I hope you are continuing to feel better. Have a great week!

I just got an email from "my banker" and shes offering a really good loan...intrance...intr..in...sigh...you know what i mean dont you..the rate at 2.83%. And i asked my cousin to look into purchasing the cam through his record-company...that way i dont have to pay the 25% taxes for it. But thats a big "no no" according to the government...so ssssshhhh. E500 does sound sweet...but im droooooooling over the D200. #:O)

That is a Great rate...at least here in the USA it would be. 25% taxes? That is insane! YEah, I think I'd take the D200, or a Canon 5D over the Olympus, but having actually held and looked over the E500, I'd say you could definitly do worse! ;]

SIIIIIIIIIIIGHHHHHH!!!!!!! Guess i wont be getting a DSLR after all. I just got off the phone with my insurance company and the woman i smashed into is claiming i was the one driving on the wrong side of the road...AND THAT IS SOOOOO NOT TRUEEEEE!!!!! God, all the cars coming afterwards passed by us on HER side of the road, meaning that both cars were lying on MY side. But that doesnt matter.....since she had 3 passangers that backs up her story. Like they arent partial...PFFFFT! And when she called for assistance she even told them that the police wasnt needed at the scene so theres no documentation on how the car was positioned. Hence.....its word against word....and they are 4 to 1. #:o( AAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Not only did she put me in the hospital...she also plans on ruining me....sniff. Wonderful...just wonderful. I need to double the morphine today i think, lol.

Need to open that bottle of whisky I'm afraid! Oh boy! Sounds to me this is inspector's work, tracing the traces of tyres on the road. But ok, on snow little traces, but maybe there's something left on the road. sigh I really hope and pray justice will be done. 4 to 1, but no independent witnesses. Perhaps unknown witnesses passing by? I hope you'll be able to get in contact with people passing by who saw it happening! Take care, Andreas!

Youre right Jan-Carel....that bottle of whiskey combined with my morphine would definitly put me out of my misery. #:oP

Careful, we don't want it to PERMANENTLY put you out of your misery! Man, I am so pissed about this. JC is right though, they should be able to turn up some evidence. I just wish the police had been called. In the US the rule is, no matter HOW minor, always call the police. I know you were in no condition to do it, but still...grrrrrrr! Surely the fact that they drove away in a majorly damaged car will tell the insurance people and the cops something. May those 4 bastards get what's coming to them! }:`[ Sent you an email Andreas...get back to me. Hang in there, I can't believe things will end so badly with all this.

The people that towed the cars, the medics, the fire dept...someone has to recall where your cars were...why not ask for witnesses in the local paper...explaining this injustice? Of course the people in her car are backing her...that should be obvious...their word should NOT be taken into account at all,as they are not impartial...The insurance company surely realises that!So if you get IMpartial witnesses their statements should be considered to be more accurate and hold more validity, than any she can produce. Surely there is a way to rectify this! I'm sorry.I just don't understand all this.People have accidents...especially under hazardous driving conditions.I don't see why anyone should be blamed. What is the purpose of insurance then? It's supposed to be so that you have no 'out-of-pocket' expenses except the deductible.I guess that's why we have 'no-fault' insurance... I'm so sorry,Andreas.I wish I could help...All I can say is,try not to let this overwhelm you.You really need to focus on getting well right now...and maybe,if there's an ounce of justice in the world, someone will come forward who can help you...

I'm with Marlene. I just can't wrap my mind around this. Have you called the police and explain the situation to see if there is anything they can do after the fact?

The police wants nothing to do with this accident. I had a hard time even getting them to give me the number of the licence plate belonging to the other car so that i could file a report in the first place. My insurance-company is currently investigating this further though. Will talk to the firedepartment and the ambulance-drivers to see if anyone of them can remember last friday. Im sure it will work out in the end....i hope. And Kort.....i can assure you...they didnt drive off in their car either. This is how their car looks. Taken with my cellphone. Unfortunatly it wasnt possible to photograph my own since it was jammed into a corner of the impound but that one looked even worse.

Karma indeed! LOL. If nothing can be proved theyll go by word against word according to the judge...and ill lose 4 to 1. And sure my insurance company will cover all the expenses and all i have to do is pay my excess (looked it up in my dictionary...hope its used correctly, lol) which is rather steep though....but if they also decide that im to blame, i will have to pay their excess as well. And thats whats really bothering me, that i might have to give them money out of my own pocket. And of course it will affect my other insurances as well. But like you said Cindy...karma...hehe...hope it gets them gooooood! #:oD
