Subject: wee problem with keyboard shortcuts for camera views in 5.5

the ~ key that takes you into Director's view doesn't seem to want to work...all the other shortcuts work, except that one...I've reinstalled Bryce after a computer upgrade...it's not a huge problem and I can live with it...has anyone else experienced this and is there a fix? thankyou! Karen

Hmmm - not for me. Just made sure but it's working fine with 5.5c, WinXP Pro and OS10.3.9. Have you tried the key in a note pad or textedit to see if the key works there? Hope you figure it out; Dan

DoH I think I've figured it out! not too long ago I changed my keyboard options in windows to allow for French symbols, and I bet this is why it's not working...as Rosanna Rossana Danna would say.....nevermind ;p L

French symbols? why do you need french symbols? WHO needs French symbols? french symbols are only made to cause troubles. ;-p

There's your trouble - Windoze only has limited support for long dead languages.....
