I received this email last night and I know its a new program. Is there a review anywhere or have any of you purchased the program and would like to review it for us? The product page really doesnt explain (with examples) what the program does. I may not be looking at the page close enough. If you have any links that you can share I would much appreciate it.

It's a drawing program. You CAN import Poser characters into it (in the ex version) but as I understand it mostly so that you can trace them in the program. I've been contemplating buying the Debut version of it for my kid, who draws manga. IF I do, I'll let you know what it's like :o)

it is not so new. Some time ago a small version of it was part of my wacom package. As I remember the big version was before only available in a japanese version.

The small version was nice to use.

If you can afford it the EX version is much better than the Debut version. Debut is missing some really nice features and one vital feature. Debut doesn't have word balloons!!! Well, technically you can draw word balloons by hand in Debut, but that would be a pain. You also need EX to be able to import 3d objects.

Thanks, EricJ. I'll think about it. Thing is, I'll be buying it for my kid and .. well.. at the moment she gets along fine with Photoshop. I just thought it would be a nice little surprise present for her. But there's a difference between paying $50 and $200 :o)

Absolutely, I agonized for days before I decided to go for it and get the EX version. Since I'm not very good at freehand drawing of people the importing features of EX are very important to me. Someone who can draw decent art using photoshop would have much less need for importing anything and the debut version would be much more viable.

The review is done. It's over in the comics corner since it's more at home there. It's a general review, but has some Poser specifics in it to!
