I know of a few people who use Cafepress to sell their prints, with varying degrees of success. I would usually design at 300dpi for the little print work I have done."you are terrifying

Places like Cafepress will 'print on demand' for you. Even let you set up a little store. But YOU have to do all the promotion and find your own customers. If your in a club or in some kind of organization to sell to then maby you could sell a couple. But it won't be like here, where there is a large rotateing customer base.
I use a simple formula for printing.. DPI times image size.. an 8x10 image@300 DPI should be rendered at 2400x3000 pixels.

DPI=dots per inch. So it's inches.

Hi, does anybody sell posters/prints of their work? What's the normal rendering size needed (dpi and pixels)? Do you know of any sites where you can upload your work and they handle the selling (like Rendo) or do you have order a serie of prints and try to sell them yourself? Thanks!
