Subject: Application to my first publisher.

My body is shaking My head's a spin I wonder if they Will let me in? Hi all! I need some prayers please. I have finally sent in my introduction letter and samples of my writing to a local publisher. SCARED BEYOND BELIEF!!!!!!

Wow, That was an incredibly quick response. Unfortunately it was a negative answer. They already have their allocated quota of poetry works for the year, and it's only February. Whew, they must have a lot of submissions. Oh well, on to the next one, maybe this time with a collection of short stories.....

Try there. They apparently publish books that other publishers turn down. Apparently Dennis Hopper is going to be publishing a photography book through there this year.

Yipeeeeee!! I have received notification that one of my poems have been selected in an Anthology of Christian Verse to be published in South Africa. It was a competition I entered so it has a chance to win one of the prizes. Hugs to all who gave me strength to overcome my reluctance to submit.
