Hi fastLee. I am the author of RTEncoder. I'm currently in the design process for RTEncoder 2.0 which will add several new and exciting features. It will be made available for Windows, OSX and Linux/X11 simultaneously ... all native executables. If you have any further questions, I'd be happy to answer them. Russell

Mark, while I appreciate that you are attempting to fill a current void in the Poser utility market with your clone of my free utility, I do not understand why you are using my name and my trademark in the marketing of your competitive program. I would request that you refrain from using my name and my trademark "RTEncoder" in marketing your application. Russell

Russell,

I had never considered my utility as a "competitor", but more as a "port": even though it's not based on your source code, the encoding algorithm and file format are exactly as described in the "Read Me" file for version 1.00 of your utility.

I will respect your wishes and refer to my utility as "RTEJava" from now on. I will not mention your name in connection with my utility.

Mark

fastLee,

The application (for Mac) that you seek does not exist at this time.

There is a cross-platform Java application that essentially does the same thing available at the link above.

BTW, I deleted post 4 to respect the wishes expressed in post 5.

Here is a link to some Mac items. Maybe if you contact the guy and he contacts the creator of RT Encoder, he can do a Mac version? What I don't understand is why people use Mac computer when 99% of everything developed are for PCs. Seems like loads of trouble.

The next version of RTEncoder will be available for Macs according to its creator.
