Subject: How should I package a clothing item?

DCArt ( ) posted Tue, 07 February 2006 at 10:46 AM · edited Mon, 20 January 2025 at 9:37 AM

I've been working on a clothing item that so far has been MANUALLY fit for several female characters (V3, S3, Aiko, Jessi, Miki, and Terai Yuki ... more will follow). Without revealing too much info yet about the item, I will just say that it will be very practical and useful. I'm looking for feedback as to the best way to package them. 1. Which would you be most likely to purchase first? A. A dynamic clothing set that includes built-in morphs to fit multiple characters (V3 and S3 and Aiko and etc). B. A conforming clothing set to fit one character (such as V3 OR S3 OR Aiko, etc). C. A clothing set that includes conforming and dynamic versions for one character. D. A specially priced bundle pack that includes three or four conforming clothing items for the most popular characters. I don't like dynamic stuff. 2. If you answered A above, which character morphs should be included in the dynamic set? 3. If you answered B or C above, for which figures would you be most likely to buy ... or which figures do you think need more clothing? 4. If you answered D above, which figures should be in the conforming bundle pack?

The guys will be next .... I'm trying to tackle as many gals as I can first. 8-D I should also mention that they will all take the same texture maps too.

A: Jessi Whether an item is dynamic or conforming also depends upon how closely/precisely it should fit to the body. Caftans and palazzo pants and pegnoirs need to flow; swimsuits need to stay in place. Carolly

A: Miki, Terai Yuki, A3, L3, S3, V3 - in that order of preference. Of course I wouldn't say no to some of the other characters out there like Anime Doll, Rosy Cheeks Lina and Sakoto. For guys, definitely D3, Koji(James) and ApolloMaximus

  1. a. even a swimsuit has z vvwrinkles when you bend over, and few ever include such details. most don't even have the uniboob effect of real lycra and spandex. and i'd rather have multiple figure support than anything. 2. figures (female): glamorous jessi, miki, aiko, she-freak, maya/anime doll, zygote woman figures (male): james, david, freak.

The last time I wore a bikini to diving class, the top surfaced before I did. I'll repeat my assertion that swimsuits ought to stay in place! Realistic wrinkles which increase at the bend zones would be great, as would realistic stretch wrinkles when somebody lifts their arm.
