Subject: i have problems to enter the galleries ?

i just wanted to make comments back to my friends who commented my winter greetings.
i have some trouble to enter the personal galleries, it takes a long time to connect very often .
dont know is this a problem of my internet settings or a problem of RERO ?

i will try it tomorrow again and again and again ........

Gerhard, there is a note in the photography forum that says :

"Please be patient as some changes are being made to improve the site.
Some slow downs will be noticed. Sorry for any inconvenience".

All of us have the same problem but this will be solved soon (I hope).

hi Gerhard.. good to see you again! you should've seen it before they cut some of the search features, removed the next/previous in full image viewing & started opening images in the gallery in a new window.. it was much worse the old code is on the way out.. they're in the middle of converting the entire site over to PHP.. ("a server-side HTML embedded scripting language, providing web developers with a full suite of tools for building dynamic websites") the Marketplace was done last month.. they're still busy customizing & tweaking it.. the community side (forums & galleries) will soon follow within the next 2 months.. then some of those features that have been suggested in the past can be implemented easier hmmm.. clicking on the member names in the comments or clicking on their gallery when you see them in the gallery.. seems to be going fairly smooth but it could be having it's up & down times

There was down time this morning in EST, USA. No problem. I expect this with upgrading of the site. Tom.

It's very slow when trying to access someone's gallery...or artist page...which can make commenting rather time-consuming... I'm glad you realise now that it's not your computer. Hey,just think of it as a time to put all those 'zen' skills to work,lol. And PS...wonderful to have you back,G. :^)
