A video of an awesome concept produced right under my very nose by the folks in the media research lab at NYU. I took a class in that department on motion capture last year, maybe I can go back and ask to play with it??? :-D Here's the link to the video And here's the nyu page on it

Only prob is when eating pizza at the computer... A messy keyboard is one thing, but fingerprint smears all over the screen... :s Still it's a cool idea and leads to natural ways of interface usage.

Yeah the screen smear is an issue, but if it's a solid glass surface a windex-wipe every week leaves it looking as good as new :) This model is rear-projected because it's a lot cheaper to do that for a screen this big, but when SED dipalys come out this could be a really viable technology: Canon/Toshiba SED technolgy

I would had thought they would use a liquid crystal screen almost like my computer screen as when you touch it lightly it too makes the colours and movement as that screen....when it comes to cleaning, you press a Right Ctrl+F7 and little screen wipers (like on the cars) start and cleans the screens...... Marc (still hoping it comes out cheaper by the time I'm 60!)
