Just before I take off for the night, have to show off a bit of the days findings. Went to two different lakes this morning.Sad I missed the real sunrise, but was a bit too late on here last night. Hope you all don't mind about 4 images. Besides it's my BD and I can do what I want LOL.

That eagle was gone real fast after. Next is a hawk I spotted. He took off fast too after seeing me.

Beautiful images Doug! I am very impressed with all of these! That eagle is just awesome! I can't wait to see what you can do once you get more aquainted with that lens!

Happy Birthday again!

OH MY!!!! OOOOOOH!!! These are all so freaking awesome!!! Love the color of the sky in that first one. And the second one is just so magnificent. Third...perfect inflight capture...you finally nailed some huh? CONGRATS!!! Fourth....absolutely stunning. Nothing else to say than PERFECT!!! Fifth...scores a perfect 10 on the AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW-meter. Finally..WOW!! All taken out in the wild as well...WOW EVEN MORE!!! I gotta say Doug, that these shots that you keep showing us is really appriciated. Cause youve definitly proven to me now that the Nikon sure does one helluva great job. And this isnt even taken with your new one. Oooh...but dont get me wrong here, of course it takes alot of talent as well. Phew...almost painted myself into a corner there. #:oP MAS4EVA!!!!

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?
