"Here's the whole lot of that unauthorized civilian scooby-doo gang practising in that small dam-lake below and never minding the new law about diving being only for work and the armed forces. Same as frogs in a pond in springtime. The "flying squad"'ll block that back cart track for us: that hill fog didn't stop them. Burn the burnable seized kit on site. In and down and at 'em!

My basic truck with personnel carrier back; it can carry 10 men each side. My jetpack. Background from the WWW. - - - - - -

All in one go on my Poser 4.0.3 under Windows 98 without using a render as a background to add more characters. 13 men. 76 characters including kit items. 167 props (not counting the "ground"). The final saved -.pz3 file is 19101 Kbytes. Message edited on: 02/11/2006 16:04

At times like these, I bet you're glad you aren't using Mike 3. :)

You were wondering about Poser 5/6 recently. The program would need more RAM, but using a procedural shader could give a definite feel of fabric to the clothing. Also, instead of attaching a prop to let you put a detailed badge texture in the desired place, you can do this with settings in the in-Poser Materials Room. There are tradeoffs in some of these methods, calculations for RAM use.

Ten more men jumped out of the other side of the personnel carrier at the same time. Plus one for the truck driver. Luckily they were out of shot or hidden by the personnel carrier and I did not have to show them and render them.

Yes -- imagine if they were all M3's with hi-res textures attached. Even on a high-end system, Poser would surrender faster than the unfortunate "scooby-doos" referred to above.

you dont need a hight end computer. just dont render the whole thing in one go.1 it takes to long.2 if you see something wrong you have to do the whole bloody thing again. in my 1st and 2nd image for that matter, there are getting on for 15 to 20 renders, (i like to see what it will look like in 10 - 15 mins not an hour or more) put together in PSP

I can't even do a large V3 render in P6 at max (default) render settings, and that's on top of P6 limiting texture sizes to a fraction of the commercial standard (4000x5333) V3 body texture. Maybe P7 will support 64bit addressing...

Poser 6 is very capable of many figures scenes also. Just follow the link..... it took about 15 mins to render it.

Artwork and 3DToons items, create the perfect place for you toon and other figures!

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(

Food for thought.....
