Subject: FreeStuff - How to?

I've never had anything to offer in freestuff before, so I've never gone through the freestuff procedure, and one of the phrases in the Rosity page about freestuff, is a teansy bit obscure to me. It's this bit: "upload your file and thumbnail to your personal website, and post the link to them here." I've already got freebies on my website, but it's the bit about "posting the link" I'm not sure of. Does that mean a link to the site, or to the page where the freebies are, or do you have to do something complex to the actual freebies ON THAT page? Er, one other thing, WHERE EXACTLY do you "Post the link"? Here in the forums? Or on some special page hidden away somewhere?

Attached Link: Freestuff Upload

Fran You have to go to the freestuff section of the website, and click on the upload link. Or you could just click the link in this message. (Note that the link I've got is actually to the Bryce freestuff). Just fill in the blanks, submit, and AS will have it approved in a couple of days. Regards Mahray

I just link to the website where the freebie is. But yeah, if your site allows direct linking to files you can do that too.

Also feel free to browse my freebies at ShareCG.
There might be something worth downloading.

In other words, you host the Freebie on your site (or someone elses) and 'rosity simply links to it from here. I was a little confused about that myself when I posted my first freebie.

I for one, dont see why they dont host the freestuff images themselves like the other sites... A real pita... Oh well, LOL!!!

There are 3 kinds of people in the world. Those that can count, and those that can't..
