I was wondering if there's a free parrot for Poser anywhere? I'd need it for an image I am working on, it wouldn't actually even need to be posable - just a normal "sitting on a branch" (or something) type would do! It doesn't matter if it needs some post processing to look okay, as long as it's some kind of a parrot :)

Edriver made me a pair of parrot earrings, recently. They are posted in free stuff. There are two different textures for them. It would be very easy just to use the bird part of the earring. Poppi

I thought of that one, too. It is a parrot, but a cockatiel....a smaller member of the parrot family. Since I own a parrot...(Yup, named Poppi)...I figured she might want a big bird. Plus forgot where the cockatiel model was at.

heyas; lyne also made some parrot/macaw figures, which are for sale at vip. but as for free... you might just hit 3dcafe or whatever and look for a quickie 3ds file.

Poppi, What kind of parrot are you owned by? I'm owned by a blue front amazon named Samba and a yellow-collared dwarf macaw named Treyvan. And a bunch of cockatiels, too. I'd like to find a nice parrot myself ... as much as I love macaws, I'd love to find one that is more "Amazonian" or African-Grey looking. I have a little Senegal Parrot that is just anxious to be immortalized in 3D. In fact, she won't shut up about it. She keeps saying "Hey! Hey! Hey! whenever I'm working on the computer. 8-) Denise

Yeah, she's a trip, and incredibly smart and alert ... when my fella falls asleep on the couch she yells "Wake up!" at him ... then once he does she says "Nite nite!" My particular favorite, though, is when she sits there and says "Here, kitty kitty kitty kitty!" Good thing we don't have a cat ... she'd be asking asking for trouble. 8-) Well, looks like I have a project cut out for me. I am going to give this a shot and see if I can get her digitally immortalized in Poser. Don't hold your breath though ... I'm fairly new at this modeling stuff and it takes me forever. 8-)
