I'd say select her body and scale her X,Y and Z scale all down to 1% seperately. Then, as the scene progress, she scales back to 100% one coordinate at a time. Y first, then X, then Z. That should look like a thin strip of light first, which then transforms into a flat image, which then transforms into a 3D image.
Very cool looking set and effects, btw.
I have found that if you make the scene without the figure and make a movie of that, then import the movie as a background, then import the figure with that background and make a movie,put the two together , the figure will appear transparent and will look like a hologram. Hope this makes scence. skee
