As I might have mentioned (several times now) I've been pretty much out of touch with the Poser community for the past couple of months. (even though I still use it everyday, I don't stop by the forums as much as I used to. Anyway, using that as my disclaimer, can somebody tell me a little more about the email I got for Miki. And yes I did a search, but didn't find what I wanted to know. And the e frontier site doesn't go in to great detail about the product. So, from what I understand the base figure only comes with head morphs. Is there a seperate body morph pack or do I need to get those from the merchants here. Same question for texture maps. And finally what's her poly count compared to Vicki 3? Thanks for your patience and responses and sorry if these things have been asked a thousand times before.

Ooops, never mind, I found what I was asking about at Content Paradise (I hate when that happens) Anyway, I'd still like to hear if she's worth the purchase (so this post isn't a total loss. :)

Miki is great ... probably the most realistic Poser female to date. Very expressive and a very real body shape.

Gizelle for Miki (ExprssnImg), and Linda 4 Miki (Shahara) are both excellent.

there are also some free body morphs in the freestuff here (all the same generous author).

Also at CP and some other sites there are some freebies for Miki and the number is growing, at the moment CP offers A Miki CE pack with morphs, clothes, vehicles, hair and a city scenery, worth to take a look at. There are two different packages, one with Miki and one without.

Actually the CE Clothing pack doesn't have any extra morphs. They mistakenly advertised that clothes pack with the same text from the Mike CE pack so the morphs are the base Miki morphs every Miki owner already has. Oh, and if you haven't been reading the forums, you've probably missed out on Phil C's great Python Product which fits clothing from other figures to almost every popular figure out there now. Search for threads on Wardrobe Wizard or check PhilC's website!

Can I chip in and ask - how well do V3 textures and clothes map to Miki? I'm wavering over buying her but am not yet convinced... TIA

"How well do V3 textures and clothes map to Miki?" Not at all. She's got her own UV mapping, she's markedly shorter than V3, bones are set up differently. In short, she's a completely different figure.

I like MIKI. :-)

If you haven't been around much then you may not be familiar with "Wardrobe Wizard." It resizes clothing so that you can use, for example, V3 clothing on "The Behemoth." I haven't got it yet - but I've repeatedly heard real good things about it. If Miki isn't supported yet I'm very sure she will be soon. p.s. Hi Deecey!

miki is supported by wardrobe wizard. for which i'm glad because i think she has the best body shape out of all the poser females out there, and have about as much trouble posing her as i do v3 (whose got much worse shoulders).

Stahlratte, is that Miki's head on Katie or some other Poser girl's body? She makes a cute child if that's the case! I really need to figure out this frankensteining thing so I can fix Koji to take Jame's FBM's. I haven't been successful with any of my attempts to date.

(1) Can Miki's face be morphed to look like someone OTHER than Miki? Most of the Miki renders I've seen have mostly the same face ...

Just MIKIs head on PT-Vickys body with my own face morph:

I first thought about using Lauras body, but MIKIs head is so HiRez that the medium rez "old" PT-Vicky body makes her easier to handle.
And PT-Vicky has tons of clothing and morphs.

As for the Koji/James hybrid, send me a PM describing the problem. Maybe I can help.

Thanks for the responses everyone. From the time I first posted this thread to now, I've spent about $75 in Miki and related items. I'm having some buyer's remorse, but I'm sure I'll find something useful to do with her!
