Subject: Does anyone want a good MIMIC or Walk Designer tutorial?

quidam ( ) posted Sat, 24 March 2001 at 10:19 PM ยท edited Mon, 02 December 2024 at 10:37 AM

I have made many of the animals and other figures I own MIMIC ready, and I have recently compiled a set of completely new walks to be used in the walk designer that will soon be brokered through DAZ after testing is complete. I have mastered these arts to an extent, and have seen many people ask about both of these skills. Is there enough interest out there to warrent me writing tutorials on making new walk designer walks and making animals and other figures MIMICapable? Please respond with ideas, and I would also like to hear how the MIMICapable Dragon is working out for those who've downloaded it.

Yeah, I'd love to see good step-by-steps on both of these topics -- using both of these things is on my always growing list of things I want to do.

Indeed yes to both.

I'd love a tutorial for the walk designer, especially for quadrupeds.

Hi everyone! I am extremely interested in the tutorial for mimic with animals as I just had a request to do a talking dog. How cool of you to offer to share this with us! Also, and I have noticed other people that have this problem, can you cover in the walk designer tutorial how to keep the heels on the high heel shoes from sinking into the floor? Looking forward to the tutorials. 8^) Marque

Oh, I'm in as Marquessa because I want to keep this system separate from the other and my dsl is down this weekend. Psssst...actually it's a disguise....don't say anything to anyone or Posette gets it! lol Marque

Eh, as a Mac user I would REALLY like any mimic file to try out. I asked this before, could anyone PLEASE post a pz file in freestuff, just so I could see how it works. Many thanks. //Mike

YES! YES!! YES!!! Above all, I'd love some hints as to how to make the set walks work with female figures wearing high heeled shoes. Whenever I try to get one of these to walk using the default walks, it looks as if she's hobbling on broken heels! Any suggestions?

Please, that would be awesome. Some of us need all the help we can get.
