Dont know if it is supported by the 20D (never looked) I know the 10D didnt support it, still with no laptop, not much point in me looking.
Yes I can see its usefulness particularly in the studio where the ambient light is low, so there are no problems with light on the screen. I have enough problems lugging all my kit about on landscapes as it is without a laptop lol and the 20D is relatively small and light compared to the 1D and 5D with grip.
The concept is something very useful to the commercial professional, though they would not be using Canon software because it lacks the functionality needed.
If Coca Cola call me up to do their half time ad. for the World Cup Final I will use a similar thing to relay the shoot live to their marketing meeting so they can direct the shoot and get exactly what they want.
On condition of course they pay in advance so I can buy it :D
Oh and a ticket to watch the match :)

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies
live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to
sea in a Sieve.

Jim, Yep I use it on my 10D when shooting indoors whilst using 'painting with light' in a dark room. It takes the shot straight to the screen to see how the torch light effects the shot, much better than trying to see it on the camera LCD. The software for the EOS capture is a lot more basic than your screen shot above, but it works. Steve
