It looks like she pulled her store. I think. Can anyone tell me if she opened a new one somewhere else?? Thanks for the help...

His stuff is still at DAZ but the Renderosity product pull thing happened again so he closed his store. There is a thread at DAZ I believe that mentions it. One of his latest products (Dagon I think)

First it was no bondage etc. type items (Nov 2004).
More recently it was "No nudity" in main/first product image.

and for a time, miki, aiko, g.i.r.l and some other toons were all declared underage, so no nude promos of them at all were accepted. some promos were pulled which i know for a fact didn't have nudity, they were just kinda more adult.

Why does Renderosity get it's nickers in a twist about this sort of thing? Is it really a legal thing? Other sites have nudity, which makes me wonder if it's more of a 'moral high ground' thing.

This is getting to be way to much. I am just about to get ready and buy something and suddenly these issues come up and the vendor closes up. Sheesh.... No hard feeling twards the vendor, it's totaly understandable, but why is it that the site runs one way for so long and then all of the sudden there is such a drastic and I think uncalled for change in policies that cause them to loose vendors? I just don't understand that way of business thinking.

The last great purge of the marketplace cost us Wyrmmaster as a merchant, dunno where his stuff is now, other than maybe one item at RDNA, and reduced Baron_Vlad_Harkonen's to a single item. I never can see the sence in chasing away merchants of that calibre myself :(

This is one of the reasons because Renderot... uh... 'The-Site-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named' has a marketplace growing a lot in the last months Wyrmmaster and Baron_Vlad_Harkonen haven't store at any other place?

Last I checked Wyrm had one product, Sexy Slayer System at RDNA, I have no clue where all the BVH stuff has gone.

ahem... ElorOnceDark is a boy ;) and though he pulled his store here at Renderosity some time ago I have inside information that he's got some stuff coming out here soon (perhaps I know this because we've been working together these days... and the pending product is a joint production).

Thank you GOM and Anna for clearing up my gender! LOL! Yes, I am a guy. Just take a look at my Renderosity homepage, and you'll see me in all my glory on my fat Harley! d alchemist, I'm not sure what you had in mind to purchase from me, (send me an IM) but I believe it's been about a year and a half since I've been a merchant here. Most of the stuff I had was bondage oriented, and at the time the PTB at Renderosity had received word from PayPal that they would no longer allow their service to be used to purchase items of "adult content". So there was a purge of "adult" items in the Marketplace, and my store was closed. I understood the decision at the time, but the thing that bothered me was I've seen several "adult" items hit the MP since my absence. I have been, since that date, a DAZ broker, and you can find all my stuff there. That being said, if you read Anna's post above, I'll be returning to the Renderosity MP soon. I guess I'd better stop now though, or this post will be reassigned to the PS forum. ;-) Thanks fore the interest! --Jeff
