Nice looking clothes.:-) My opinions are 1.At Poserworld there are shoes for V3 where you need to apply an ordinary morph target to Vickys feet before the shoes are fitting,so I don't think it's too unusual to include something like this. 2.Maybe you can contact one of the great texture artists here at Rendo and ask if one of them like to make textures for the clothes. 3.I would buy the clothes at this price.:-)
Hi. I like it very much. Now, for my oppinion; if you pretend to sell a product it must have a nice texture (or better, a set of textures), unless it is a platinum-club/real-deal etc. That item, as I see, would be a great freebie, but I wouldn't pay 10$ for it with no texture. Think that it's an item for GND, not for V3, so you'll have a thinner range of buyers, maybe it'd a better idea to make a V3 item with morphs for GND (as Mask-da did with AS3 Casual, a product for SP3 but adding Irina morphs - see link ) http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=37845 About the model itself: - What I do prefer are the throusers. It's good. Does it have any morph (open/close zip, up/down...) it'd be a great addition Ok, good luck with the sales!
You need probably three texture sets with 3 items of clothing.
I would add a belt model for the trousers, and belt loops to the trousers also. How high up do the boots go? If they are up to the knee I would add a "inside boots" or "over pants" morph to the pants or boots, so you could tuck the pants inside the boots.
The more morphs in the clothing, the better your sales will be. If you can model folding into the clothing (think Awful Soul) that would be even better :) What type of a morph did you have to add for the boots to fit? I'm so used to just making the feet and toes invisible with boots that I don't even use the morphsfor the feet anymore LOL!
I sent you a PM

very clean looking meshes (from what i see). if theyre UV mapped reasonably well these would look excellent textured. id add some more wrinkles, but that can easily be done with morphs. thank you for supporting my product! let me know if theres anything i can do to help. "Think that it's an item for GND, not for V3, so you'll have a thinner range of buyers" not as thin as you might think, a lot of people have her and theres a lot of pressure on me to produce clothing. i dont think it was a bad decision at all. in answer to your questions: 1. an injection morph/pose is the best way to distribute something like this. theyre not very hard to make, and that way the customer can just load them with one click. IMO its easier to make an injection morph than to explain to a customer how to load individual morphs manually, and then shoulder the tech-support emails that result. alternately, you can make a pose that hides the feet. 2. shoot rio an email perhaps? 3. that depends on the final product. go with your instincts - dont let people sway you either way. the people that buy $5 products exclusively will want you, naturally, to price it at $5. those that pay more will suggest more. in the end, it all comes down to this: at $5, just about everyone who owns GND2 will buy it. at a fair price for it - be it $10, 15, 19, etc almost as many people will buy it. keyword is fair price. this is evaluated from the finished product. 4. looks good. i particularly like the cut of the top. with the right textures (and possibly morphs) this could be adapted to casual clothing, tactical, etc. depends on how the mesh looks too, i suppose. what did you model it in? cheers, -gabriel

It was modeled in Carrara 4 Pro. However I had an accident that meesed up the jeans somewhat so I'm remaking them with some mods that were suggested, boot morphs etc. At that point I've had a number of people ask about texturing them. I LIKE the idea of making the wrinkles morphs and have been pursueing that angle for sometime now, which is why the base clothing looks so plain. The tee shirt I showed in the Poser Forum thread has morphed wrinkles in it. I think that allows the user a bit of customization.
Oh, and to use the moment here is a picture of another peice I made up, but I understand that a commercial nightie is going to be offered, and I don't want to hurt someone else sales so I'm not going to offer it at this time. Maybe add some moer items and make it a commercial pack my self, but this picture is too good not to post...

Question--I went to DAZ to buy the GND2 and, despite numerous searches under all possible spellings, not one item came up. I then went through the morphs available for V3 (8 pages of them!) and didn't see her listed...?! Where the heck IS the Girl Next Door? I love the lingerie that's in the 'Rosity store for her, which is what got me started looking for her. Patricia
