I think it would be awesome if we could please have our renderwars forum back, i know of a few artists that would definatly come back to the site on a more regular basis if it was re created, plus it was just darn good fun

SndCastie could you PLEASE explain what renderwars is. Jumps is not the only one out there who had no idea what that forum was about or for. Perhaps if more folks knew what the forum was about or for, it might have had more interest.

I know it was a game of sorts..something like D&D? had 'guilds' or something for you to belong to...??? I do hope tho, that if it comes back, there will be a newbie place to land while the unaware of us figure out exactly 'what' we are 'supposed' to be doing :D

I think but don't quote me some one would start a challenge of sorts and then others would join in and render away on the challenge. The above was the discription under the forum. I never went in there lol but am trying to find out exactly what they did in there from some of the older folks that use to do it. I will post exactly what you had to do when I find out :O)

It was something about someone issued a challenge and then the others tried to accomplish it.. is what I have been told by the one who started it. :O) So I was almost right Sandy

It is kind of what we do in the challenge forum. You might what to check it out.

There were like clans and alliances or something.. We'd all use freebies or models we've all purchased (using different textures for each faction)to wage war amongst each other. We'd have seens of rabbits blowing up mike or vicky in-the-current-popular-elf-morph or things of that nature. Aliances would be made and declerations of war prepared. It was actually quite funny to read through some of the stuff the gang would come up with and the retaliation images were hillarious, as anyone posting would be required to add some story to the images. It kind of died off so it was closed for lack of participation. Alittle different I guess then our Challenge Arena but it was closed due to lack of participation a basicly dead forum. "O(

Sounds fun, too bad I missed out on it.
