Hi, Does anyone know of any free places to host my Poser images? Specifically I'm looking for free (don't you just love that word) and where there won't be such very tight restrictions on what I post (generally of a suggested sexual nature that falls outside Renderosity's rules). Thanks as always in advance to all the wonderful people in this community... Martin

All the free image-hosting sites with which I'm familiar have tighter TOS restrictions than R'osity's. ImageShack, PhotoBucket, ImageCave, Yoxio, and PutFile, for instance, do not permit any kind of nudity, whether one might consider it sexually suggestive or not.

Again, be wary of the "free" hosting companies. Although they may be free for you, think about what your visitors have to endure: banner ads, pop-up windows, sidebar ads, cookies, etc. --Joh

If it's just images you want to upload, there's renderotica and raunchyminds and some others. If you want to set up your own site there's almost nothing you can do for free. Some ISPs offer space for a personal web site (usually only a few MBs) with limited traffic (a few GBs/month). If you want more, you've got to pay.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

http://www.poserhome.com/ This is a new site announced in this forum a couple weeks ago. Check it out. They seem to do this for you as a Poser community service. Tim

You can build a site on Angelfire, Tripod and the likes. They're free ... just slow.

As has been previously pointed out, the free webhosters like Tripod generally have even more restrictive rules than Rosity. Plus they have bandwidth limits which can be quickly eaten up by large images.

Renderotica might be your best bet for images that don't meet Rosity's TOS.
