Hello there.:-)

I am re-classifying my bryce models. Some of them came as *.br4/5 files and when I click add they go as polygon, not as object. I mean the visual. As you can see, all my models show right at objects seccion, except one (inside red square) and also another I wa trying to add (left top).

So, my question is: how add them in such way I will see them like others I have?

Thank you very much in advance.

I wish you can understand me.:-)

Hi Aniela You could try opening them up in a scene, then saving them again in the same place, that way you will have changed the Bryce 4 model to a Bryce 5 model, You may need to give it a default texture too. As i havent any Bryce 4 models, I cant help you. sorry. Marc

Thank you vey much for your care Marc.:) In fact, these screen shot models are from *.br5 files. I just found this happens only when I want add to Misc category, dont happen with others. Weird thing...

I have some like that too, as i keep opening them up to see what they are, i get used to knowing what they are, LOL... I would make another folder in your presets (Usually - C:Program FilesDAZBryce 5.5PresetsObjects?? ) and place them in there then delete them from your main Misc category when Bryce is opened.... Something like: Buildings or terrains. so you would end up with: C:Program FilesDAZBryce 5.5PresetsObjectsBuildings. Marc :)

No, as you can se on top, in the first picture I sent, only the last one is as wire frame, others are fine. In fact, Bryce frozed sometimes when adding objects and I had to replace some ones. Maybe because they were too big ones. Anyway, after I added this last one as wire frame, Bryce frozed too.

aniela Try making a new folder for your objects, this will help you when saving new items that you have made......as you can see in my 'object' folder, I have quite a few! LOL....Its easy enough but, if you have any trouble, just call me. Marc :)

Just another thought, have you updated your version of Bryce. If you have version 5, there is an update to 5.1 here - (http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=Corel3%2FDownloads%2FSupportDownloads&pname=Corel+Bryce+5). This could help. Marc

Thank you very much for your concerns.:-) Also for remember to update to 5.01. I formated my HD few weeks ago and I am still re-installing everything. And as my bryce update version is not on Bryce 5 CD I forgot to update it. I have several folders inside folders. For now I only have 2 main folders: User and User 2, the first one have 12 sub folders; second have 4 in. Anyway, I still have many work to do. I grab models over 5-6 years and is the first time I am classifying them. Thank you again and I will call you again, if needed, of course.:-)
