Subject: Free place you can host a 50 mb?

Is there any free place you can host a 50 mb file to share other people on the internet can download? My web has 200 k limits. Thank you for your time! Jason

it's probably a video file. try compressing it down with divx 5 or whatever. nobody would want to host a 50 MB file, sucking up all their allotted bandwidth after a few downloads.

It is a zip file so I aready have at high compression.

Zip is a lossless compression format, very good for text, data and program files. Not good for video and audio. If that file is a video file, try recompressing it with DivX, you can get MUCH better compression than with ZIP without significant loss of quality.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

it occurred to me, somewhat belatedly, that you can upload it to the usenet, where some servers may hold it for a month or two. unfortunately, anything posted to an alt.binaries group is likely to be considered warez.
