Subject: Poser 5 Skin Procedural Shader

Fidelity2 ( ) posted Fri, 03 March 2006 at 7:04 PM · edited Sun, 12 January 2025 at 4:46 AM

Dear Friend:

How are you? I hope you are okay.

I would like to know one thing only. Read below.

How could I create, the most realistic possible procedural body shader, within Poser 5, using the 'Skin' shader function, and some procedural bump map?

I would like to create a realistic light skin tone. Thanks.

Sincerely,

Fidelity2.

Here is something I did before I got RealSkinShader. The aim was something simple. I would like to know how to use the skin node properly though.

just search forums for realism and skin

anxcon... good advise, but the forum search has some sort of bug and crashes some browsers ALWAYS. I have had this problem for months and months, no matter how many times I try to do a forum search the browser always crashes when the page with the search results loads. On the other hand I have no problem at all with MarketPlace searches, strange. If the forum search works for Fidelity2 I would suggest they also try the search terms "nodes" and "procedural".

It's "Base_Color".
You can tell because any input that has been plugged into, changes to a green plug icon.
Unplugged into channels show an outline socket icon.
