Subject: morph or not to morph

AHEM clears throat yet another post. Sorry. Seems I have more questions, but I AM a newbie to Poser, so just stick with me here :p Ok, so in one of my previous postings, I mentioned about having trouble adding a character to V3. Most of you said I needed V3 morphs from Daz. Ok, so I looked in on it, found the list of morphs the pack can do...and you know what? I found out I have the morphs! But you know what sucks? I still cant seem to morph V3...get asked for missing files (yes I know, I need to locate them) and Poser freezes, forcing me to alt-ctrl-delete it closed. So, now my question: I have the morphs, but why cant I add a new character inj to V3? Do I need to add the morphs first before adding the character?? sighs I need a drink :p BTW, how does one save a custome face morph? I made a rather interesting snarl...but I dont know how to save it shrugs Thank you all for your comments...and patience! smiles sheepishly Lady Sythe

Hi again I've gotten lucky with keeping a copy of the !DAZ folder in my main Poser Runtime and the runtime I store the gazillion inj files in. No more searches. Faces get saved to Expression. Easy way is to click on sais face. Open a file in Expression. Click +. Follow dialog box,,, when you get some experience you can pick and choose what is selected in "subsets".

..and the "other" runtime

There is one installer from Daz for V3, another for the face morphs, and a third for the body morphs. If those are all installed in the same runtime, you should not have an issue with Poser finding them. To Inject the morphs, you find them under poses in Poser and click on the ones you want. Alternatively, for a third party character INJ pose, you just click it and it will take care of adding only those morphs that are needed for the character. If things don't work this way, you probably want to reinstall V3 and the morphs.
