Subject: Slow going in the galleries :o(

I've been finding it very difficult lately to view artwork by favourite artists by selecting them from my faves list or their gallery links from their homepages due to VERY slow response times! (come to think of it viewing my own gallery is taking a lot longer than it used to too). Having said that I can easily view images from a new artwork notification that takes me direct to a pic! Is this a problem anyone else is having? It's kind of knocked my viewing style right on the head, as I like to take the time to visit the gallery of anyone who is kind enough to comment on mine :o(

It seems to be related to the URL. When I want to open an image from an artist's gallery, the URL looks like "/viewed.ez?galleryID=....&Start=...&Artist=...&ByArtist=Yes When following a link in an e-bot the URL only has the galleryID as a parameter. Apparently the slowness has to do with the extra search parameters - which are not needed anyway. One galleryID will only give one image. Easy to fix, IMO.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

Yesterday I had to wait 2 minutes to get from one gallery page to the next. Today gallery images do not open at all. This is going on for months now, as far as I remember since december. I ask myself if the performance of the site will EVER get any better and WHEN???!!!
