When I rendered my image the transparencies on my Poser 6 figure's head and eyes didn't come out properly in Vue 5 Infinite. The transparencies on the body did. The texture list shows that the transparencies are turned on completely. Can someone please tell me how to correct this?

Go into the eyelashes and eyebrow mats and make sure that there are transmaps loaded. Go to the transparency tab and you should see the Variable Transparency box checked with an image in the box next to it.

I'm having trouble with this, too, importing from Daz Studio. Eyes are a huge problem - with white pupils as seen in the above image.

I've checked the Varible Transparency box with no change. I've fiddled with settings for the pupil and still can't get the pupil to be anything but white. It's a procedural color of black, instead of a mapped picture.

There is one part of DAZ eyes that has a glass-like material setting. I don't think this imports correctly and will give you the white part. Try to select this and set the material to glass in Vue. As for the eyebrows - some textures use a "painted" version on the texture for the head and therefore you should not export the eyebrow object.

I'm a newbie to Vue, so could you give me a hint as to where I'd find the glass setting in Vue? I've looked and looked in the Material Editor, but keep missing it.

Or, if there are a multitude of settings to get a glass like effect, is there a tutorial you could point me to?

I have tried simply loading a glass material and that doesn't work.

If I could fix this, it sure would help, as I'm getting far better at eye painting than I ever wanted to be. (grin)

I closed and reopened the image after making some adjustments and turned up the render settings and got a correct eye and eye brows. I don't know why, but sometimes it takes more than one attempt. These 3D programs can be so fussy sometimes.

I've opened and re-opened my files and that didn't work for me. However, I've gotten a lot more knowledgeable about the material editor and been able to do workarounds to get some of the white eye sectins filled with colors.
