My Topic of the week is "the bridges" because the architecture is a very complex but very captivating world and beautiful imagination. This bridge is in Seville and the architect is Santiago Calatrava. He made many bridge like Puente Oudry Mesly of creil (France), Milwaukee Art Museum Milwaukee (EEUU), Bridge of Woman, Buenos Aires (Argentina)...... (Thank you TwoPynts for your patience with me;) and sorry for my poor english! kiss) Good day all people and kisssssssss Valou

I.K.Brunel's railway bridge over the River Tamar 1859

Right behind Brunel's bridge is the more modern Tamar Road bridge. So two here for the price of one. lol

Here's on from my part of the world...a bridge down at the port of Miami -- AND a bridge leading from the terminal to the cruise ship I was on. (see the diti) Great theme Valou...I hope we see many more lovely bridges. Sorry for the quality of this photo, it was taken with my old C3030 and not under optimal conditions. EDIT: Ah Pat, you beat me! That is quite an epic bridge there!

Fabulous bit of history there Pat ! Wow that is some cruise terminal Kort - beats the one in Essex ;)

Mine is on the M25 London's orbital car park, this is 4am so it is a bit quieter then. You see the 4 lanes heading south, the 4 lanes heading north are in a tunnel underneath the Thames.

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

One thing we all have to remember is there is only one upload per person. or these threads can get unviewable by anyone with dial up. Can even be taxing for a high speed connection. Sorry folks.
