...it's nothing new, but it has been awfully quiet in here the past several hours so I though I'd start a new thread. Show me a close up an eye. Yours, a friend's, a loved one's, a stranger's. I'm sure you guys have a bunch of these on your hard drives...it is a popular subject. 8`] Here's mine.

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Hey...if the forum is that slow....i suppose ya wont mind me posting one more pic? Beautiful eyes btw, fellow MAS-members. Are brown eyes common in America? Here its sooooo unusual its considered to be exotic even, lol.

Such creativity! Andreas:Common?I guess brown eyes are just as common as blue, here. But I can tell you one thing, they are faaaaaar from being considered exotic, lol!!!It never occurred to me that somewhere on this earth,my brown eyes would ever be considered 'exotic'!!!And btw, your peepers are pretty beautiful, too.Well,in the bottom pic.The 'hulk' one is a bit less flattering, lol. So what color are yours?Certainly not brown,I see... And Joe,that's a really neat effect you did there! Can I ask what you did?

This is how my right eye is seen...(not). Love those hazel eyes and not a wrinkle around. Margana...the eye you posted in #3, that is the eye! I can't look much longer, too much power there. ; )

This thread sure is a feast for the EYES! @ Marlene...I wish I could remember exactly WHAT I did to get that effect. I was messin around with a whole lot of layers and blend modes in Pshop and that was the end result. Now ya know WHY I never became a TEACHER....my PUPILS wouldn't learn a thing! Hey but I gave it another go and tried to recreate it...but just came up with somethin totally different...kinda funkadelic! I'm gonna call this RETINA BURN (Is that cornea or WHAT?)

Zacko ( ) posted Wed, 08 March 2006 at 9:09 PM

That is one cool effect Joe. And thanks Marlene...ive been told i have teal eyes or something. They arent exactly blue....some kind of mix of grey and blue...with some splashes of amber. Speaking of eyes (duh...thats what this thread is all about...) looks like someone has his eyes on yours. #:oP

And Joe...Wow on that second one! It's wonderful!!!Just crop it a bit above the eyebrow and you have something really exceptional.I love the way that blue looks under the eyebrow. The whole thing is quite painterly. And LOL at "cornea what?"

Wow Dean, that is a great eye shot. Quite detailed, and I love your flame treatment. It's not fair I tell you. I start a thread then sign off for the night only to find you've had all this fun without me. It is just not fair. ;] Anyway, awsome eyes everyone! And Andreas, brown eyes in the USA are as common as ...dirt. The most common eye believe. Blue, hazel, green, violet...all are much more exotic. I remember growing up and thinking that being an albino would be cool because I'd have red eyes, heheheh.

Mine are alluring hazel...just the right mix an not a "brown eyed southern boy" even if Southern with the manners of a gentleman and the eyes of...well, and older guy..still hazel. If you like hazel nuts, you would like me.
