Subject: Hi, I'm a PSP and Poser veteran but totally new to PS

I've just got PS 7 and have used it for the first time to create a Poser body/head texture. Took me a long time as I didn't know a lot of the functions in PS at first. Still don't. Hope u all don't mind me having a little lurk around the forum for a while ;-)

My aspiration: to make a decent Poser Render I'm an Oldie, a goldie, but not a miracle worker :-)

yup, we're open 24 hours (sometimes even in a row)

don't be afraid to ask a question, even simple ones (those are the ones i can answer... it's the "meaning of life" ones that throw me for a loop!)

thanks folks, I found PS interface a bit puzzling at first, but am slooooooooooowly working my way round it. I think it's the confusion between some PSP and PS functions - the way they're applied and whether they're specific to each program. Several senior moments here, methinks ;-)

I'm pretty much a PS forum lurker but I can assure you that everyone is very helpful & questions are answered quickly. I've learned a lot here..

Hi! I paruse this forum more than post. I too was a poser/psp user. At first, I found PS daunting, but after six months, I took PSP completely off my system..... there's just no going back! Do not be afraid to go down that new road! You'll never go back!

thanx all - I'm getting more into PS now, but have had rodent trouble in past couple of days (PC mouse is not behaving! lol, will have to get new one). Must agree that PS has more capabilities than PSP as far as I can see

Wait one.... are you using a mouse with the ball under it?... if you are, it might only need to be cleaned. Lou.

Hi Lou, no I always use an optical mouse as it's more responsive. I'd had the "poorly" mouse for a while, so have got a replacement - so far so good! ;-)
