The next droid in the astromech series: the R3 unit. Like the R2 unit, this model was made by John Jongsma, with extra moving parts and color variations by JHoagland. Like the R2 unit, this R3 unit includes:
  • Rotating head
  • Rotating outer legs
  • Rotating outer and inner feet
  • Extending middle leg
  • Extending outer and middle foot-wheels
  • "Standing" and "moving" pose files
  • Moving upper and lower middle arms
  • Left and right opening door hatches
  • Left extending service arm
  • Right extending service arm with claw No textures are included with this package, but please feel free to make your own. This is a completely stand-alone model: you don't need the R2 unit to use this droid. To see a LOT more renders of the original Lightwave model, please see John Jongsma's site at: http://www.glimpses-essential.com/starwars_remake/SW_Droids.htm And, yes, in the coming days, the other astromechs will also be released as Poser versions: R4, R5, R6, and R7.

I downloaded it, but it had a busted motivator..;) The R3 units are as stable as the R2 units... it's the R5's that have problems with the motivators. :) But, if your R3 unit does have a busted motivator, please send a copy of your sales receipt and warranty to: Jawa Commune P O Box 1138 Mos Eisley Spaceport Tatooine --John
