Hello my dear friends 2 days ago I've download the free software "Blender" and I must admit that I had a really good time playing with it! and to share my pleasure with this new toy, I've decide to offer you my very first model. It's a spaceship made for speed racing, the design is not really original, but don't forget it my very first model! 8-p To downlod this model (Bryce format ".obp") just click the link below. Best regards! Of course any comment will be much appreciated!

Very sleek looking craft! I'm not really a "gamer", but I've not seen this design before and it looks original to me. It looks pretty heavily armed for a mere "speed racer". I take it that those are cannons on the very front?
At any rate, great work in Blender. I think you could do well in any 3D app if you wanted to.

thank you Danamo.. the cannons can be removed as it comes on separate objects ; there is even the place for a driver and a complete cockpit ;-p

Nice little speeder, but I never got to grips with Blender. But then I wouldn't, would I.....? ;-)

No doubts that Blender is a very powerful tool my friend, lol. I just couldn't summon enough logic to utilyze its "Vulcan" interface.;-) I am learning the ins and outs of Carrara 5, which attracted me because of its feature set,its price, and because it is Bryce-like in a lot of ways. C5 had just about every feature that I wanted and some I didn't even know I needed, but I'm glad they're there because they allow room for growth, in a familiar environment. I admire folks who can wrestle with the complexities of Blender like you and Pidgy! I bow in the general direction of Europe.:-)

"I am learning the ins and outs of Carrara 5, which attracted me because of its feature set,its price, and because it is Bryce-like in a lot of ways." Yes Carrara and Bryce have a lot in common thanx to "metacreation" who edited them. Concerning Blender, that's quiet easy for the moment I've learned Vulcain at school, didn't you? lol , no, I've simply followed a tutorial that give the bases of what you should know to use blender. ;-p

pidjy, You did that after 2 days? It took me a couple of months in Blender just to figure out how to get the interface working for me. WOW !! Garth and bikermouse bowing on bended knees "We're not worthy,We're not worthy!!"

Amazing model pidjy; it seems that some people are born with brain-to-computer interface so that they easily can crank ut fantastic 3D stuff in no time...:-D
